Hope Community Church is located in Hope, a few kilometres south of Richmond, and draws people from about a 15 km radius. The church property is located on Ranzau Road, situated halfway between the towns of Richmond (population 13,000) which is 5 minutes drive north and Brightwater which is 5 minutes drive to the south (population 1,200). Ranzau Primary School is situated directly across the road.

The church has about 400 people (including children) who identify this church as their spiritual home.

A major building redevelopment has just been completed. The church has an ambition to use its facilities and resources for the benefit of the wider community and to help people at all levels of their lives.
